Fortin Racing manufactures this beautiful lightweight billet aluminum rack & pinion for race buggies using beam style suspension. 2.0" ram pushes heat treated rack through 4 1/4" of travel with 1 1/2:1 desert ratio. Compact and lightweight, this rack is available with or without built-in servo. The rack & pinion comes supplied with carbon fiber covers for protection from rocks.
Fortin specifies using a 1250 psi pump, and 30 splline u-joint or coupler, (see steering components)
