EMPI HPMX Carburetors
EMPI HPMX carburetors are similar in design to Weber IDF series carburetors. The HPMX has separate idle, and main circuits featuring changeable air and fuel jets. Intake air is metered by changeable venturies, and the accelerator pump is adjustable for maximum tunability.
Parts and rebuild kits are readily available. Chrome velocity stacks are included. Available for single or dual carburetor set-ups! CA Prop 65 Warning
40mm carbs. for engines up to 1800c
44mm carbs. for engines up to 2200cc
EMPI HPMX carburetors now feature extended idle jet vent tubes which help prevent clogged idle circuits.
