IMI Hi-Torque VW Starter
IMI Hi-Torque Starters gear reduction design is designed to provide the utmost performance for hi compression race engines. These top quality starters are a blend of existing and proven starter engineering with "good old american engineering" This combination provides you with not only the most reliable performance starter on the market, but perhaps more important, one that is affordable.
From the IMI 101 for 12v VW bug and early 002 bus transmission, 101NL or 101R for reverse rotation Honda, 104 for later 091 bus transmission, to the high output 101N with 1.4KW hi output for big V-8's. IMI 101NMR is used for Mendeola MD-5 transmissions and is designed for use with Subaru 130 tooth flywheel. (101NMRC chrome version shown in picture)
