EMPI 930 CV Joints
EMPI offers 2 types of Hi-Performance 930 CV Joints. P/N MB 98-5094B features a chromoly cage, and machined outer housing with looser tolerances so it's ready to grease and go. Both inner CV star, and outer housing are made from hardened alloy steel for durability. Outer housing is grooved to aid in cooling and lighten the joint which lowers rotating mass.
EMPI also offers P/N MB 87-9470B which is a no-frills high performance 930 CV joint that comes with a Chromoly cage. This CV joint has a loose fit between the balls and tracks to allow for increased angles, so no prep is required. CA Prop 65 Warning
EMPI 930 CV joints are Chinese made, and offer the recreational enthusiasts an economical option over the German 930 CV joints. EMPI CV Joints include spiral-lock snap ring.
